The BLS was designed for Europe and never sold in North America. Saab developed it, and it was built at the Trollhättan factory on the same line as the Saab 9-3, sharing GM's Epsilon platform with the 9-3, the Vauxhall Vectra and the Opel Signum.

Your buckle hardware follows European practice rather than anything fitted to a Cadillac in the United States, so a part sold for an American Cadillac is the wrong starting point.
