The Concours is the one DeVille that swapped the front bench for individual bucket seats and a centre console, which is exactly why the buckle is harder to find in yours than in the car parked next to it. A certified extender brings it back into reach without touching anything original.
The Problem
The base DeVille and the d'Elegance both use a front bench, where the buckle sits out in the open on the cushion. The Concours does not. Individual buckets with a console between them put the front stalk down in a narrow channel, so you are reaching into a gap you cannot see. In the rear, passengers reach behind the hip for a latch tucked against the bench. Add a coat, or twenty-five years of a stiffening retractor, and either position becomes a real struggle.

First, check which DeVille you have
Concours is a DeVille. Across the 1994 to 1999 generation the range ran base Sedan DeVille, d'Elegance from 1997, and Concours at the top, all on the same body. The Concours was the one with the Northstar V8, a floor shifter, analogue instruments, and the interior that looked much like a Seville's.
Two consequences. If your car has a front bench rather than buckets, you have a base DeVille or a d'Elegance and should order from that listing instead. And if your car is a 2000 or later, the Concours name was retired and replaced by DTS, which is a different car again. Tell us the year and whether you have a bench or buckets, and we will point you at the right part.
Try the free fix first
The outboard front belts on this generation of DeVille have a height-adjustable upper anchor on the pillar. If your complaint is that the belt sits awkwardly across the neck or shoulder rather than that it will not reach the buckle, that adjuster is your answer and an extender will not help.
Worth five minutes before you spend anything. If the belt still will not close around you once the anchor is set where you want it, an extender is the right product.
