The CT6 was Cadillac's full-size flagship, built on its own aluminium-intensive platform and often specified with a reclining rear seat. Space is not the problem here. Geometry is, and it differs between the front seats and the back. A certified extender brings the buckle back into reach in either.
The Problem
A car five metres long still puts its front buckle stalk in a narrow slot beside a broad centre console, so you reach into a gap you cannot see. In the rear it is the opposite of cramped: on cars with the reclining rear seat package a passenger settles further back and lower, which moves the latch out of where the hand naturally drops. Add an overcoat and neither position is workable without turning round to look for it.

Where was your CT6 built?
Worth checking, because this car had two lives. North American production ran at Detroit-Hamtramck from late 2015 and finished early in 2020. The CT6 then continued for the Chinese market, built by SAIC-GM in Shanghai, for several years after the American car had ended.
So a later CT6 is not simply a newer version of the same thing. Cars built for and in China can differ in specification and in interior fittings, and later Shanghai-built examples sit outside the range most parts catalogues actually cover. If your car is a 2021 or later, tell us and send a photo of the buckle rather than ordering on the year alone.

Pick the shortest length that works
We recommend adding only the minimum length you need to buckle comfortably. More webbing is not safer, it just adds slack.
1.Reach with your eyes shut
If you find the latch by feel you need length. If your hand stops at the console, you need height, and that is a rigid extender.
2.Measure where you travel
If your rear seat reclines, judge the reach in the reclined position rather than sitting upright. The two are noticeably different.
