Fit It, Then Prove It
- Compare the tongues. The clip's 2.1 cm tongue should match your Škoda belt tongue in width and slot shape.
- Click it in. Push the clip into the factory buckle until it locks, then pull it upwards hard.
- Belt up through it. Fasten your belt into the clip and pull the belt sharply. Both joints must hold.
- Test the release. One press of the back button should free your belt.
- Sit and check. Lap belt low across the hips, shoulder strap across the collarbone, well away from the neck.

Pick the classic round ŠKODA AUTO badge for older cars that still wear that roundel, and the arrow with wordmark for most Škodas from the 2010s. Since Škoda's 2022 switch to a flat wordmark badge, neither exactly matches the newest cars, so choose whichever look you prefer.
Can I Link Two Extenders Together For More Length?
No. Never connect two extenders in a chain. Each extra joint is another point that can fail, and the buckle ends up sitting over your abdomen instead of beside your hip. If one clip does not give enough reach, use a single longer webbing extender instead.
Will It Affect My Škoda's Seat Belt Reminder?
Not when used properly. Euro NCAP's 2025 test of the Škoda Elroq lists front and rear seat belt reminders with occupant detection as standard. A clip left in an empty buckle can make that seat read as fastened, so always belt up through it and unplug it from seats nobody is using.
Is It Suitable For Children Or During Pregnancy?
