Installation & Compatibility

1 Will this fit my campervan? +
This belt is designed for universal fitment in campervan conversions, rock and roll bed installations, day vans, minibuses, and coaches. It works on driver, front passenger, and rear positions, with identical units for left and right sides. The key requirement is a suitable vertical mounting point. If your setup uses a rock and roll bed or custom seating without a top anchor point, this belt is specifically suited to that configuration. For bucket seat and performance builds, a 4 point racing harness is the better match.
2 Is the buckle stalk the right length for my setup? +

The included buckle stalk measures approximately 30 cm. This suits most standard campervan and rock and roll bed installations. However, if your seat base is unusually tall or your mounting point is recessed, you may need a different stalk length or design, such as our universal 3 point kit with 3.5 m webbing. Check your setup before ordering, and contact us if you are unsure. We can help you confirm compatibility.

3 What mounting points do I need? +

The belt must be installed in a vertical position using structurally sound mounting points. No top fixing point is required, which makes it ideal for rock and roll bed frames and custom seat plinths. You will need to provide suitable anchor points in the vehicle floor and/or seat frame. The kit includes 4 screws, but you should verify that your mounting points are adequately reinforced before installation. Where a vertical mounting point cannot be created at all, a 2 point retractable lap belt anchors at two points instead.

4 Can I install this myself or do I need a professional? +

If you are comfortable with basic mechanical work and your vehicle has suitable mounting points, DIY installation is achievable. That said, seat belts are safety-critical components. If you have any doubt about the integrity of your mounting points or the correct installation procedure, we strongly recommend using a qualified installer. A poorly anchored belt is worse than no belt at all.
